Bar Crudo
The counter seats, albeit at a very narrow bartop, put you right up against the staff shucking oysters. A great view while you ask them to help you decide between the East and West Coast selections. This is seafood for people who actually care about seafood.
Why I Love It
The menu changes with what's good that day, which means you're getting fish that was swimming recently. The crudo preparations are clean and precise where they let the fish shine instead of drowning it in unnecessary garnishes. Counter seating makes it feel intimate even when it's busy. The wine list knows its audience, and I have yet to have a bad glass (even when it was that funky "orange" wine.)
What to Order
- Whatever crudo they're pushing that night, srsly, the kitchen is on point.
- East Coast oysters if you want brine, West Coast if you prefer sweetness. Dude, just get some of each.
- Start with the smaller plates and see where your appetite takes you.
Good To Know
• Reservations recommended, especially for weekend dinners. • Counter seats are first-come if you're flexible about timing. • Wine-focused bar program - they'll pair well with whatever you're eating. • Not a huge space, so expect some energy and conversation around you.
